Gray Swatch CONTEST

Summer 3DTHE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS IS ONE OF FOURTEEN FINALISTS

participating in the Solar Decathlon intercollegiate design competition. Our student team is working with the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems (CMPBS) to design an 800 square foot solar-powered home office.

Our Structure is presently being constructed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It will be on display from September 24th to October 6th.

We recognize that mobility is a cornerstone of American culture. We intend to show how a mobile structure can be expanded and adapted to a specific site, particulary its climate.
